NORTHRUP HALL

Northrup Hall combines administrative, faculty offices and classrooms. Our design responded to Trinity University’s desire to replace the old structure with a new state of the art building that would spatially connect the north and south portions of the campus.  The site planning centers the building as a defining landmark and axial passage way into the campus.

The building architecture and material pallet make reference to the existing buildings on site with its use of brick and Texas limestone.

In response to the local climate, we made use of sun shading elements throughout in the form of louvered windows, covered walkways and landscape shading devices.
